Does Liverpool's current situation with Gerrard...?

Strangely, I found Liverpool playing better WITHOUT Gerrard. Yeah, I really don't believe he is as a key player as before. In the 09/10 season him and Fernando Torres basically carried the team and they suffered for it. I think it has something to do with Dalglish getting every single one of the eleven players on the pitch to do something important. It's kind of like how Fergie improvised when we lost Cristiano Ronaldo. He carried us on his backs at times and now we have more team oriented play instead of letting one player do a lot of work.
