Why is Troy Glaus a free agent still?
he had a decent, productive season in 2010. played 128 games, was on pace for 20 HR, 90 RBI, .240 BA, and 66 R. a team like the marlins, with a sub-par committee (consisting of Emilio Bonifacio (has never hit a home run that wasn't inside the park, is also needed as utility), Wes Helms (veteran who can't do anything but hit an occasional single), Greg Dobbs (about as useful as Helms), Donnie Murphy (extremely clutch pinch hitter who seems to go 0-4 with 4 strikeouts every time he gets a start), and Matt Dominguez (touted prospect, first round draft pick who still clearly is not ready for the majors, despite gold-glove caliber defense. broken elbow, regardless.).) at third base, could definitely use Glaus. I'm sure they aren't the only team. But why haven't I even heard of a team considering signing him to any deal, minor or major league?
