Why do so many hockey fans despise the Red Wings and some people even compare them to the Yankees of hockey?

the Maple Leafs may have 13 Stanley Cups but they have not won it since 1967, before the expansion era, so I'd rank them third place in best NHL team of all-time, 1st place is Canadiens, 2nd is Red Wings
